Yes, Naseeruddin weaves his gossamer with delightful dialogues, and Kalki responds with lively retorts. Their bonding - waiting is Dynamic-fun; she looks prettier after her nip-n-tuck. The movie is not a maudlin (cry throughout) experience. The chemistry of 'not-her-father'  versus  'new-generation-abuse -all-time-youngster' is enigmatically stitched to the dialogues. The subtle conversion of Naseeruddin starting to use the f word and of Kalki to calling folks blends into the fun night.... No its not what you'd imagine it to be......  It's 99 minutes of living

Initial 15 minutes are strangely documentary like. Most know true story so why waste celluloid time. Buildup is very slow with narrative style storytelling. Lisa Ray and her blu-green eyes do justice to her focused role of Husband-killed-by-Veerappan. Veerappans' role is mostly shoot and scoot, so not much scope for acting. The STF protagonist, the hero is grounded in his actions, thankfully not hamming like SRK.

25 minutes into the movie and until the very end, you are wound up on your seat for the final, the denouement... with details of planning, countermeasures et al shown reasonably close to actual ops. The final blow is well executed, thankfully.

The nexus of bloody money - politics - insiders - drugs is portrayed aptly. Expectedly, many will be upset.

Graphics to die for, not an animation, fun  movie you must watch only if you are a Johnny Depp or Carol Lewis-Tim Burton fan. Mia carries the movie on her whims, Depp is brilliant. Sacha Cohen Baron as Mr Time (personification) and his mechanical assistants, Mr Minute and lots of Mr Seconds are a treatise. The concept of time travel, time dilation is told beautifully. And the intrepid Captain of the ship... It's a fairly fairy tale.

You step out of the hall buoyant and believe in wonders and family.

Is a complicated story so keep your ear to the ground, in this case screen. Snow-white is nowhere, but the fight to save her Kingdom is. Jessica Chastain versus Emily Blunt. Both are awesome. The graphics of Emily invoking ice walls is breathtaking. Chris Hemsworth is charming. Charlize is brilliant in a short role. The Dwarfs,now they are tad interesting, especially with their mix of cockney n' cock a snook at.... 
Marginal use of Hindu motifs,clears up once you view the credits with a Indian name. Graphics to die for. 
Yet the movie can be disjointed if you've not kept abreast with the details. But with Jessica-Emily-Theron, and Arm candy Hemsworth, these 99 minutes are dream material. Worth a watch for IQ 135 and above.

Fresh breath of jungle air... It's pure fun watching this three dimension rendition of Rudyard Kipling. The original fare is kept and you enjoy the flow. Baloo the Bear is loveable as is Bagheera. Mowghli in non animated but animated avatar looks sweet. The devilish SherKhan is truly the King of the Jungle. A very small role for Kaa the Snake, mesmeric with the voice of Scarlette Johanson... her voice is seductive.
Sadly, when Rudyard wrote this story, humans may have been preyed upon: it's us who are unfairly killing the Tiger now.
For children and adults alike, it's a must watch. Brush up on the original story prior to the show for quick recall of the characters.
Baloo is adorable, as is the pack.The runt is cute too. Don't leave the credits song at the end. It's great too.

Wasted Superman and Batman characters on a political underbelly. US facing criticism for saving the world, whilst sacrificing own soldiers. Personification of American as Superman taking the blame... Lex Luthors son Alexander comes across as a irritating twerp, nowhere near Gene. Cavill can't act, but as Superman he doesn't need to,it's what he represents. 
Amy as Lois is passable. It's Gal Gadot (wonderwoman) that's eye catching. 
Plot unfurl sequence is too slow, too late. The batmobile and batcraft are a treatise as usual. The death of Superman and state honours burial is well played out. Important for all American soldiers who are fighting at Iraq, Syria, AfPak...
...and the underlying message that even superheroes get disheartened by world opinion... Bruce Wayne included...
and you may have to suffer the irritable Eisenberg as Luthor later on...

Set in the salubrious climes of Coonoor, aka Wellington. Nopes, no shots of DSSC. But plenty of Nilgiris and those verdant memories.

This one's a difficult case, some will hate some will sit riveted. Apart from the opening slow motion song, nothing else is a bore. 
Farhan's sublime act is hypnotic. Aditi Rao Hyad has a small 'laugh-cry-dance-show cake' role.
Amitabh B is on the ball, mesmeric and overpowering. Lovable.
The movie is set with Chess as a metaphor for life. You've gotta learn when to loose,so as to win. A denouement with Wazir is the twist that leaves you exit the hall with a smile.

The metaphor becomes the movie 🎥.
.(beware, The girl in the rear row said she found this movie a bore).
Maybe this movie is your cup of tea ☕,
Or maybe not..

Set in post civil war America, a stagecoach ride backdrop in Wyoming.
Mystery drenched in howling snow blizzard, enacted in chapters as in a written book. The blood, gore, raw bones, smoking pot of coffee, auld 'merican cowboy drawl and smoking guns make this into one helluva potboiler. 
But beware, this not for fun movie... It'll leave you exhausted.... Only die hard Quentin fans should take the plunge... others stick to DDLJ...

Verrry close to reality.. Tad discomforting. The depiction of Akshay as a purebred businessman is absolute and his transmogrification to India ka Lal is very subtly done.. Convincingly. 
Nimrat is gorgeous, albeit her upper lip has fallen.... age catcheth up dearie. 
Feryana Wazheir, the bombshell clearly catches the eye. 
The mass mobilisation by Akshay is well depicted. Though Iraqi have been shown in bad light... I've known scores of them personally... Unlikely, they REALLY like Indians because of Amitabh Bacchan.. And yes they know his dialogues from movies by heart... This was well depicted. Sad that Ankit Tiwari had to cull Didi, by Khalil. to make his own item song here.

Tusshar and Vir look emaciated juxtaposed to the well muscled thighs of the East European bimbettes. 
Double Sunny side up Leone is marvellous in looks, figure and runs your hormone factory. Her bespectacled avatar with a gorgeous switch allures.
It's all those dirty, horrendous, cheap jokes over WhatsApp ever seen that are encapsulated in this 108 minutes.
Other characters are irritating at best.
Sunny Leone alone, oops in double... Is the Oomph Goddess.

Aditya RoyKap is sculpted for eye candy girls....he can't really act,but emotes in his quietude....as was pip.
Katrina looks her part, vivacious, one love, dream girl and reticent in love... the essence of her character in Dickens , Estella.... 
Tabu is marvellous with her veiled,rich, cantankerous, mourning her infidel love part.
Yes, it's a great story... You have to have had that teenage crush on Estella to vicariously be in there.

Special effects are out of this planets realm. Egyptian mythological story interwoven with love, treachery, wise fools, young love pining and the grandeur of the Gods. 
Egyptology is bequeathed with many story versions. Conflicting facts therein with Ra being attacked by Osiris, since RaOsiris was a combination God. Beautifully crafted Annubis, Horus, Ra, Seth and Osiris, played by Gerad Butler.... His nonchalance is the Evil God. 
Read up on Nubian mythology before stepping out for the Matinee. And the God Queens may sometimes be tad bit of a tease....

Delightful time peppered with brilliant performances by Ratna Pathak Shah and Kirron Kher. The role of queen, Rani Sa is oh so convincing with every nuance just a wee bit accentuated for effect. Kirron s delivery is super, the credit equally shared with the writer. The hero, Forward Khan is dashing and a treat. Sonam K is actually good in her role and looks chirpy.

The quintessential lip lock scenes are reasonable. The awesome locales ofRajasthan are let's say,.awesome.

The role of the reticent King is convincing. The understated royalty angle is so propah.....you believe this story is actually happening...in the house of ..... Rathore's

Clearly not entertainment. Very well made though. You wonder why they spent do much money to give everyone melancholy. Shahid is awesome. Tabu is spectacular. Rest are incidental. KK its limited by his role. Sadly the Indian Army is shown in poor light, with factually incorrect things. I know because I've fought militancy there on the famed silk route. I've had multiple encounters. Homes are not destroyed in this manner. Many a finger point to Basharat Peer, the script writer, a separatist incline. The political message in a commercial movie raises questions about the conduit of funding.
Nevertheless, worth a watch.

Glimpses of Pierce Brosnan in Hrithik are actual a pleasure to watch. With his inimitable staccato head shake and Katrina purring with her eyes in naughty angles, their romance its high octane. Locales like Prague...sigh.
The plot its simple and the best line is...yaar Kohinoor steal kiya..kuch to IZZAT karo. 
Go for it...I'm planning a second viewing..of course its for Katrina.

Well researched and the details have been ensured. My years in the cavalry tell me some one making this movie had to be in the cavalry to know the finer nuances of life inside a armoured fighting vehicle...a M48 Sherman.
Brad was awesome. The denouement, with one tank slicing the German might was pieced together imaginatively. The dinner table scene with the luxury of fried eggs and a 'enemy girl' to take is so potent, offset only by the sudden interval. If you're not from a defence background, take any Army friend as your movie date...to understand the devils detail in this making.
A brilliant one.

Erratic pace until the last 20 minutes. In the end the story picks up pace and unfolds the truth.
Screenplay is average at best. The monotone of Imraan flat voice gets boring, it's only when Kangna enters the frame that the screen dazzles. 
Music 🎶 is above average.
Overall average fare.
If you have a relative to meet, do that instead. Better still, wait for the next movie 🎥 release.
Awww... Ok, you can always waste 132 minutes.

Jason Clarke does his role convincingly. The details of mountaineering, impact of super high altitude, oedema, rarity of oxygen are put across so well.
The shots of Sagarmatha are so overwhelming, leaves you suspended between life and death itself. 
Go watch this movie, albeit read up on Google or Bing to understand what these altitudes can do to mankind.
Keira had a small role, meaningful nevertheless.
View this for the breathtaking shots of what an Everest storm can feel....

Drop everything, I mean everything and go watch how beautiful a story can be. 
You feel sad the movie got over.

Anne is so pretty. Everybody needs a boss that drop dead gorgeous.

Now the down side.
Smacks of US subtly announcing rights on Mars. US Chinese bonhomie. And one Indian and African thrown in to help out. One American life is worth millions of dollars.... Digestible?

Great earth and space shots. Every bit technically correct inasmuch spacesuits,
NASA, telemetry goes.

The director takes the path of creating stress and then releasing it. And you end up holding your breath when Damons oxygen runs out... Brilliant direction.

Great watch while it lasts. And of course you learn how to grow potatoes from your neighbours poo...

Men are from Mars...? They're desperate to get away from there - potatoes, poo and plutonium....

Uh....the 3D aspect.... You feel on Mars. And the girls are cute, as usual.
Wee bit disco music of the 80s in space... Waterloo, ABBA... Napoleon did surrender...
And maybe another state has been added to the US of A .... Mars.

Verrry weak script. Methinks Prabhudeva and Akshay have lost their marbles this time. Hottie Amy Jackson is delicious and seriously ready to be placed into Tussads, since she can't emote anyways.

What came over Akki to accept a buffoons role. Songs remind me of Gaulish feasts, where the Bard Cacophonix is on. Ugh. Desi hero with Gori Mem heroine formula gone sour. Romania, Punjab, Goa and Maa. All in one big Tamasha. 
But wait, KK does his wee bit little role. His villianery is muah. Maybe 5 minutes, but that's impressionable.
And Prabhudeva must stop pissing at the hero.
AVOID, if you can. And seriously, Sardars are not a joke as shown in these 141 minutes.
But Amy does look delectable.

Turning reality into fiction a sub judice matter requires finesse. And whilst this may no longer be sub judice, the movie 🎥 keeps you engrossed.

Playing out versions of the murder scene is very Masterfully done by Vishal. The botched up investigation is so well portrayed. And of course, the realism with which the Police incompetence is portrayed is convincing.

Irfan is brilliant as usual. The scrip is tight and perfect to the T. Screenplay is solid, the scenes will leave an imprint in you mind.

No its not a depressing movie, so banish those, 'i won't watch this movie ' thoughts.

Konkona is convincing. So are the others in the cast. I can't recollect the Dramatis Personae... Please Bing it on.

It's a treatise for Irfan Khan fans.

That it's a scene to scene copy is not the issue. Ifraan Khan is brilliant as usual, except his screen time has been reduced in favour of Aishwarya. Who hams through the movie. Despite her gym ready body, her facial ageing with her drooping left eye is visible. Her mediocre acting pales opposite Irfaan.
Court scene dialogues made for Ash seem meant only to make her win every point, to the point of ridicule.
I've never been fond of Ash, but this time round she irritates me to the core.
Shabana Azmi makes her presence felt.
Avoidable movie.

Sadly an awesome starcast given a silly screenplay with a workable story, with a off the top director.
Pankaj Kapoor is brilliant, Shahid magnetic, Alia Bhatt very skin baring sexy and a few mixed bags thrown in everywhere.
Technique of initial introduction using animation feels good. But using that in the middle, late middle and entwining within a song seems incongruous. 
Father daughter chemistry is beautiful. The ultra green Frog 🐸 remains a mystery unto the very end. An 8.5 pack himbo with two 'run out of money ' families and a hired castle with all the usual trappings is good timepass though.
Yet in the end you wish the director had made the movie less unreal. Go watch it for Alia in her skin avatar. Go for the brilliant Pankaj Kapoor. But you'll regret it nevertheless.
The end credits Alia Bhatt deshabille to Bikini teaser rivets for a quarter of the minute. She does look awesome. Shahid is cute.

Weave through time and demons with the ferocity of Vin and Elijah Wood, this fantasy thriller is all set in environs of christianity and their enemies.
Despite all this, you exit wondering why did Michael Caine choose to work in this movie.
Depiction of the evil head witch is no doubt well shown. But that's it. Experience a dull headache upon exit.

Nicole Kid and Julia Roberts get a few frames as well. Che is dynamic and centrestage.
Nicole looks awesome. Julia looks washed out. 
It's the plot that is great. The twist ending is fabulous. Very serious movie. Keeps you riveted. Sombre and packed. Some wicked stuff in the crime of NY. Toy come out with a frown.

Another Mera Naam Joker modelled on movie.... Has 3 chapters and same heroine.
Cinematography is weird, with the high angle camera work ams sound styled on the Tamasha method. The casting itself bores you. Deepika is brilliant as usual. Corsica destination is fun. That's it. The storyteller routine begets ennui, Moderate Schizophrenic glimpses of Ranbir evoke moderate acting skills. Towards the end Deepika is in focus again and the movie is bearable.
The director perhaps set out for a Mera Naam Joker, ended up with Boring part 2.

Only Deepika fans will appreciate the Tamasha.

Damp squib and erratic in its story telling. Cinematography and screenplay is phenomenally awesome, yet the story is so weakly told that the scenes at times felt badly edited, no they weren't, in fact they are bad direction is say.
Jennifer Lawrence is individually good. Julienne Moore is as well. It's the destruction scenes that are captivating. The action attributable to Katniss ate sadly just two short ones where she uses her fabled archery 🎯 to vanquish her opponent.
The ending scenes are extremely disjointed. The movie may have exactly followed the book, but it doesn't come across as a flow in the hall.
Tad disappointing. A Mocking watch.

The flip flop of good and bad in the lead artists leaves you wondering who is the antagonist.... and the man friday for odd jobs including dead body disposal...do such people exist. Daisy Shah does not belong to the movie...

Songs are forgettable and the music score is unnoticeable.

Motley pot of Cleavage and legs for 131 minutes and the censor certificate signed by Pahlaj Nihlani is what you get.
